A Clinical Naturopathic Practitioner

I know firsthand what it’s like to struggle with health issues that seem never-ending.

Years ago, I was dealing with excruciatingly painful, heavy periods and a wave of anxiety that left me feeling like less than myself. With no quick fixes in sight, I decided to experiment with my diet, making small changes to see if I could find relief. And it worked. My anxiety eased, my periods changed dramatically, and my curiosity was sparked.

Why was this helping me? With no Google around to answer, I dove into studying Nutritional Medicine, and as I learned about the body’s incredible potential, I knew I had found my calling.

Soon after, I began helping my own mother manage her health concerns, and that’s when Dear Mother was born. My mother has always been my best friend, my support, and my inspiration—a true source of strength and resilience. Naming my practice after her is my way of honouring the nurturing, caring qualities she embodies.

I wanted this practice to reflect that same love, warmth, and dedication for every woman who walks through my door.

My Approach: Test, Don’t Guess!

I believe that true healing starts with food and that understanding your body is the first step to long-lasting wellness. I take a 'no BS' approach that is honest, straightforward, and achievable for busy women. Functional pathology plays a key role in my practice—using testing to uncover the root causes of your symptoms so that we can target them directly.

Because I’ve been there myself, I understand the unique challenges you face, whether it’s dealing with the exhaustion of motherhood, balancing work and life, or navigating frustrating hormonal or autoimmune issues. My goal is always to make you feel heard, supported, and equipped with practical tools you can actually apply to real life.

Outside of work, my world revolves around my family, and I’m a firm believer in slow days, sunny adventures and good food shared with loved ones. My life is as full and chaotic as anyone else’s, and I value balance as much as my clients do.

Whether you’re struggling with fatigue, hormonal imbalances, or just want to feel like yourself again, I’m here to support you with a realistic approach that’s grounded in evidence, compassion, and a deep respect for your unique journey.
